Jewellery Fashion Trends For 2010

Jewellery Fashion Trends For 2010

2010 has been a great year for fashion trends, with fashion icons like Cheryl Cole, Alexa Chung and Pixie Lott in every magazine, younger and younger girls are wanting to look like their fashion idols at an affordable price. It has also given all us girls the chance to play with different colours, shapes and even sizes!

The trends to look out for this year are:

Anything BIG and BOLD

Striking and Unique Pieces

Multi Strand Necklaces

Huge Bracelets/Cuffs

Chandelier Earrings

Swarovski Crystal/Pearls

Colour forecasters Pantone released their Spring/Summer 2010 forecast, and according to them this is the year for Violets and yellows. Other colours to look out for in winter are black (every girl’s staple colour!), greens, greys, and browns, especially chocolate brown.

Jewellery is an important part of any girls outfit, it has so many different roles… It can make any outfit, and give it an edge. It can take and outfit from daytime to evening. It can have the effect of making you feel that extra bit special, and it can give you a chance to dress in the style of the stars with so many replica designs being done at more affordable prices.

As with any fashion, jewellery trends change on a seasonal basis, so it’s important to keep up to date. With most costume jewellery being quite reasonable now, most people can find something that fits within their budget.

Cuff Bracelets are a big item for 2010, if you can’t find ‘the one’ for you why not buy a plain one and get creative!

BIG and BOLD is the way to go for necklaces. Every fashion runway this year has bold styles, in a variety of colours. All pendants are Big, and Multi-layered strand necklaces can take any outfit from simple to fabulous.

Summer is all about nature – butterflies, flowers and leaves. Hair accessories are also a big thing, again with flowers/butterflies being a huge influence.

The fashion trends for this year offer so many choices, and give everyone the chance to be adventurous and experimental with fashion, without having to spend a fortune.

From one girl to another….. get out there….. have fun…. and enjoy your jewellery
